Welcome to Pro Wrestling Excellence - a competitive e-fed built around storytelling, creativity, and respect for the hobby. Below you'll find the official rules and policies that govern our promotion. These guidelines exist to ensure fairness, structure, and an enjoyable environment for everyone involved.
Real, Active Wrestlers Only - Pro Wrestling Excellence features real professional wrestlers exclusively. This means no original characters. If they are competing in professional wrestling in the real world, they are eligible. This ensures a shared understanding of history, legacy, and character foundation across the roster. You may portray any real-life professional wrestler so long as they are actively able to physically wrestle. You have creative freedom to portray your wrestler any way that you see fit. Once you establish your version of a wrestler, maintain internal logic within your portrayal.
3 Character Limit - To promote roster stability, competitive balance, and meaningful division growth, Pro Wrestling Excellence enforces a strict three (3) character maximum per member. Of those three characters, at least one must compete in a different division than the others. For example: You may control two Male Singles competitors and one Female Singles competitor. You may control one Male Singles competitor and one Tag Team (counts as one character slot) plus one Female Singles competitor. You may not control three competitors all within the same division.
1 RP Limit - Each competitor is allowed one (1) roleplay per scheduled match. This ensures fair competition across the board. As every other fed in existence do, we operate under the idea of "quality over quantity". You are encouraged to make your RP count. Strategy, creativity, and efficiency matter here. There are no "volume advantages" in PWE - the playing field is level.
2000 Word Cap The maximum word count for any competitive roleplay is 2,000 words. Anything exceeding 2,000 words results in automatic disqualification, regardless of quality. If your RP is 2,001 words, it is over the limit. Edit accordingly. Be concise and intentful with the contents of your RP.
Auto Booking Weekly match cards are constructed and finalized by the staff. There are no sign-up sheets, no "call-outs" required, and no booking requests that guarantee placement. The creative team evaluates ongoing storylines, competitive rankings, activity levels and long-term narrative direction. From there, matches are booked on cards in a way that strengthens the overall product and maintains competitive balance.
This means that your characters are eligible to be booked every week. Please take this into account when picking up multiple characters.
Auto Segments You may submit storyline segments to help shape your character's direction. Do not submit coded segments as staff will handle that. You can use the Segment Submission Tool to accomplish this. Keep formatting clean and readable. However if you choose not to submit segments, you will still be booked, and you will still be featured in segments. Staff will handle storyline progression on your behalf. Participation enhances your influence, but it is not mandatory for inclusion.
No-Show Policy If you miss a scheduled match, you will automatically be booked the following week. If you fail to appear for that second booking, your character will be released from the roster. We understand real life matters far more than this hobby. If you cannot compete, communicate with staff in advance, if at all possible!
AI Usage Policy The use of AI in competitive roleplays is strictly prohibited. Any competitor found using AI assistance in a competitive RP will receive an immediate automatic disqualification. PWE is built on your creativity and your storytelling ability. Competitive integrity is essential. However, staff may utilize AI tools to assist in match writing and production elements. The difference is clear: competitors compete — staff produce. AI is a production tool, not a competitive advantage.
OOC Conduct Policy Be cool. That’s it. But let's expand upon that to cover our bases.
No harassment. No personal attacks. No toxic behavior. No drama. No undermining others' creativity. Competitive fire is encouraged. OOC hostility is not. Respect your fellow writers. Respect staff decisions. Disagreements can happen - handle them like adults. We are building a competitive environment, not a toxic one! Let's have some fun!
